Medical Director - General Cardiology
(Cardiology Non-Invasive, Non-Tenure-Eligible Clinician-Educator)

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor who also will serve as a medical director in a busy and nationally renowned general cardiology program. Responsibilities may include supporting the nuclear medicine lab, supporting cardiac MRI services, and attending on inpatient cardiology service and the ambulatory clinic.

Qualified candidates must have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program, hold board-certification in cardiology, and preferably have a strong and/or developing record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support.

In addition to the skills as noted, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship, and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees, and/or graduate students. Salary is commensurate with experience.
