Announcing a new Chapter Program to help solve coding problems The Illinois Chapter is pleased to announce that it has established a CODEFAX Program to assist Chapter members in the difficult, time-consuming and frequently misunderstood world of coding. This program is designed to provide accurate, up-to-date information to cardiologists who need fast answers to coding problems encountered in their daily practices. Who is Eligible for CODEFAX Assistance? CODEFAX is available without cost to Chapter members whose dues for the current year are in good standing. Fellows of the College who have not paid their current Chapter dues will be charged a fee for this service. Please note that the dues of every member of a cardiology group must be paid to obtain this service without cost; or, the service is available at a rate of $150 per hour, billed in fifteen minute increments. How CODEFAX Works... Simply click on CODEFAX form, fill out, then FAX it to (847) 391-9711 for a speedy response. This program is administered by McVey Associates, Inc. This firm has delivered highly successful quality coding seminars over the past several years in conjunction with the Chapter Annual Meeting. These seminars will continue to be presented annually. CODEFAX is an interim expedient allowing for prompt address of coding predicaments. How Much Will CODEFAX Cost Me? There will be no cost to Chapter members who have paid their dues.
