RE: Proposed by-laws change
ACTION: please respond YES or NO to the proposed by-laws change no later than Jan. 21, 2008 to Bill Monn at billm@ewald.com. Please reply yes or no to the entire proposal.
Overview: The IL-ACC Board of Councilors is proposing increasing the number of members on the board to reflect the increased number of cardiologists living in the south suburban area of Chicago relative to the number of cardiologists in other districts. The board also is proposing adding an at-large position that is in management at a cardiology practice. Per the state by-laws, national ACC has reviewed this proposed change and approved that it is appropriate to ask Illinois chapter members if they approve of the change. To be adopted, a two-thirds majority of those responding is required. Note the deadline for a response is Jan. 21, 2008.
