2004 Fall Annual Meeting 2004 Clinical and Research Prize Competition October 8, 2004 Hilton Chicago 720 S. Michigan Avenue Chicago, Illinois 60605 The Illinois Chapter of the American College of Cardiology is pleased to announce sponsoship of a clinical and research prize competition this year during the 2004 Fall Annual Meeting. The program will be held on October 8 at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Illinois. Researchers, clinicians and trainees are invited to present posters in the three categories listed below. Abstracts of research results or case presentations must be submitted by September 24, 2004. Applications and abstracts must be submitted electronically. Applications can be found at the Illinois Chapter website: ilacc.org. Abstracts are limited to 300 words or less. Notices of acceptance will be emailed to the primary author. We may not be able to accommodate all applicants because of space limitations. The following cash prizes totaling $2,250 will be awarded in each of the following three categories: I. Case Presentation — First Prize $500, Second Prize $250 II. Basic Research — First Prize $500, Second Prize $250 III.
