IL-ACC Board Of Councilor Elections Now Open
The 2010 Board of Councilor elections are now open! Your vote is important to determine the direction of the Chapter. This year, ballots have been sent for open Board positions in the following districts: Chicago, South Suburban, Northwest, Central, and Southern. In addition to voting for your councilor, all ACC members will cast votes for the position of IL-ACC Secretary Treasurer.
The Illinois Chapter is divided into 6 Chapter Districts that geographically represent the 1,000 ACC Fellows in Illinois. The number of Councilors allotted to each Chapter District is based on the number of Fellows in the District. Councilors are elected by Fellows in each District for a two-year term and can be re-elected to a second two-year term. The Councilor represents the Chapter at the local level, assists district members with everyday problems and concerns, and communicates chapter initiatives and events to members.
Check your email and don’t miss your chance to select your regional representative to the Chapter’s Board of Councilors and the office of Secretary Treasurer. Balloting will close on June 16, 2010.
If you are a member in one of the above listed districts and have not received your electronic ballot, please contact the Chapter office.
